Freshman Reflection

During my freshman year i have come to not hang with the people that i used too. In eight grade i hung with a lot of dumb kids, they never did thier work but they were so funny thats probably why i hung with them. But i know that my choice of type of friends didnt change but the people that i keep in my circle did. They are more mature than my old friends and talk about things that make sense even thou its off topic. I like them better.
I see my old friends as little kids because they are still doing the same thing as we used too, but im in high school now so i dont wanna do that stuff no more. My freshman year i realized that my thought process has changed completely. last year i would think about parties and girls and that would cloud my thoughts from whats important. I still think of things that are not on topic all the time but its more mature than last year. Now i think of my family and how i can get a job in  the summer.
I think ninth grade changed me because i am around a bunch of older kids that are more mature than me so too fit in i had to act older than i am. Everyone in Parkway act like adults so i have to fit in so i wont classified as a young bull or underclassman. My ninth grade year did a positive change because it got me awayfrom the stupidness i used to hang with. So i say thank you to my ninthe grade experience because i changed into a more mature person for my age. That my nith grade reflection.

This i believe

i believe that gay people are to be respected and treated like they are normal, because there is nothing wrong with them. Homosexuals are the free spirits of the world. They arent afraid of being who they really are and they dont care about what others have to say, and i respect that about them. I have a gay friend named alex, he isnt abnormal except for he like boys but i still see him as a good friend and i will not turn my back on him because he is gay. We have been friends for at least two years and i really enjoyed the time we spent together. I am not gay, but that doesnt mean i have to dislike homosexuals. Some of my idols are gay. For example Neil Patrick Harris is gay but i dont care he is an awesome actor and his sexuality doesnt color my opinion of hm.
I think if you are scared of homosexuals then you are secretly gay. Because not liking gays is like saying "im gay but i cant be friends with a gay person so people wont know that im gay." I dont really care about what people think of me or who im around so i hang with who i want to, so i believe that gays should be respected.

And on there you will find the article about Will Smith slapping a Ukrainian reporter at the Moscow MIB 3 red carpet event for trying to kiss him. There could be many reasons why he kissed him and why Will reacted like that. I think the reporter kissed him because it how the people in Moscow greet each other. But it couldn't be that because no one else tried to kiss him while he was down there. Or he could have just loved Will so much and became obsessed then tried to kiss him from all of his excitement. I think will did the right thing thou, i would have done the same thing.
Will is from West Philly and down ere we dont kiss men and if a man try to kiss another man then he will get slapped. I would have done the exact same thing. I think he slapped him because he thought the guy was trying to kiss him in the mouth. But that's what it looked like to me, but i kind of felt bad for the guy thou he was a fan and he was slapped for being to excited.

White America

Ever day we see whit people on TV, white people on billboards and white people in magazines. And this have been going on for years but we haven't really cared about it because it was entertainment. But now according to this article named Broadcasting a World of Whiteness says that television went over board when it released a television series named Girls. Now when i think pf girls i thin of women of all races but obviously not everyone does. The show only involves white women, and it offended some people of the African American race. The show is about girl trying to make it in the big city of New York. The show is said to be racist because not only white women are girls, there could at least be an Indian or Mexican women involved in the group. But only whites. All over America people feel some type of way about the whole racist television thing. I for one dont really care its just tv and if the white people want to rule tv then i say let them. Black people complain about everything but never want to solve t. It we were given the chance to be on tv we wouldnt even want it. Im black so i know how we are, this is just something to complain baout no one is going to actually step up and do anything bout the whole racist tv situation. And the only way it could be just white people on the show is if only whit people tried out. Black people are not that active so we dont get involved in thins like television. Trust me if blck people wanted a v show we would have one, but we just dont care.

Health Fair

3,700 mothers abort their children without knowing the problems and health risk. For example if the abortion goes wrong the woman can never have children again. At the health fair, seniors told us about the complications about abortions and health risks. Most people see abortions as murder because you are killing an innocent unborn child that has its whole life ahead of it but it was ripped away because you are too selfish to have the baby and let it live its life. Other things happened at the health fair too, we were giving condoms. Because the generation now is at high risk of having an STD because we have sex early at an young age.
I agree with the idea of the school giving us condoms for safety. There is a lot of people having sex and the health fair told us how to be safe. The health fair gave me a lot of good and helpful information about my safety.

Hiding a gun in my favorite pants

A 182 year old company that make clothing has just invented a new and fashion filled way to hide a weapon. It is chinos, they are equipped with an extra pocket designed for holding a hidden weapon. Of course people need a permit to have a gun but now it can be hidden. If this becomes popular its possible a lot more pieces of clothing will have the secret compartment that is designed for holding a weapon. This fashion trend is smart. But then again it has its pit falls. The crime rate will go up tremendously because everyone will have a weapon. There will be more deaths of cops because criminals will have weapons to fight the cops with also cops will kill innocent people because of the hidden weapon they have strapped on them. I don't really think it would be smart because people would take advantage of the situation and make the fact that their clothes have a gun pocket they can have a gun all the time. To me it just an excuse to have a gun. The gun hidding clothing is stressing the free right to bare arms and is taking advantage of the right to bare arms.

Criminal State of Mind

What is a criminal? Is it some one who kills random people, or rape innocent children just for their sick twisted pleasures. If that is your definition of a criminal then you are wrong on so many different levels. The people that are in jail for killing random people or raping innocent women and children are criminals but they are not the only people that are. Every one has criminal tendencies but most people do not act them out but the ones that do get caught and are thrown in jail for a long time or probably life. If you thought about stealing or even driving through a red light, you are a criminal. A criminal is not some one who does horrific things they are people that does the wrong thing but get caught. Just because you did not get caught when you drove through that red light or stole some candy does not mean you are not a criminal, you are.
I my self can be seen as a criminal because i have done some things that are not appropriate. I have stolen before, nothing major maybe just some candy or a little bit of money that was not mine. But overall i am a criminal but i was not caught for what i did and i was not thrown in jail so people would not see my as a criminal. People do not look at the regular people on the street as criminals because they were not caught for anything. Only the people behind bars are the criminals in the eyes of the people. But i personally think we all are criminals, because we all have criminal tendencies.

I trust you (choice blog)

There is a saying called, Trust is a two way street. Which means if you trust someone then they have to trust you back. But people claim that they trust no one and they are "lone wolves". Like my father always says, "I trust no one because the world isn't a friendly pace". But the whole time he is talking about not trusting people i just say well dad how can you say you do not trust people when you show that you trust people everyday all day. Also you rely on others even tho you might not realize that you do. See what people often forget is without certain things that people made, the human race would fall apart. For example, i catch the train everyday, but if i did not trust anyone i would not even step foot on the platform because i would trust that it would fall to the ground while i am on it.
I catch the train because  trust that the people that built it knew what they were doing and it will stay up. I also trust that they tested it out so they know it is stable enough to hold a lot of people. We all go on vacation, except for the people that are less fortunate that others, but when we go to Wild Wood or Disney World for the summer and we ride the rides there and eat the food. We are showing that we trust the amusement park, because if we did not trust them we would not ride the rides because we might think that they are not stable. We would not eat the food because we might think that it is not safe or clean. We go out and by clothes because we trust that they wont rip apart when we put them on, we buy cars because we rely on transportation and we trust the car companies to give it to us. We all trust people so do not say you don't because, trust is a two way street.

Photoshopped

Technology, technology....what would we do with out it. But the better question is what can we do with it, with technology today we can browse the internet, make phone calls or even make fake pictures. I got your attention now right. Yes its true we can take a picture of a cat, tweek it and make it look like a dog. Its called Photoshopped. And it amazing, i know you probably thought that models are born perfect with no marks of any kind or bruises. Well they are human just like us and they are not perfect but we can make them look like they are. Just by dragging, erasing, and touching up corners we can make an over weight elderly woman look like a goddess from Greek mythology. But how do we know if the pictures are actually fake, well i really don't know and that's the magic of it, your not suppose to know.
We see fake pictures every where, on billboards, magizines and more than likely on television. Almost nothing on TV is real so don't believe it is and we cant determine which pictures are real or fake so before you go believing what you are seeing is real, remember Photoshop exist.

Sexual Revolution

Really i don't actually care about this stuff but i have to write a blog for it so... here it is. In the late 50s early 60s there was a thing called the Sexual Revolution, that's when people had sex with people before they were married or even together. It wasn't a rule that people had  to have sex only after they were married it was just frowned on. but people became tired of only having sex with there life partner so they revolted. They went out and had sex with any and every one, basically they didn't care anymore. But to make matters worst it was very hard and rare to find protection such as condoms or birth control. So obviously people was getting pregnant and getting sick because they just had sex with the random guy or girl that live three doors down. But the sexual revolution is over and now people have the right to have sex with whoever whenever. And trust me they do, but is causing so problems with the children that spawned from the careless mistakes of the mother or even father, but ore so the mother.
Now kids are being born out of wedlock, that's were the term bastard comes in play. People when a kid is born and the father leaves that makes them a bastard but actually that is false, when they are born out of wedlock the are considered bastards.They grow up be ridiculed because they are a bastard, that word is loosely thrown around and used at the wrong time but it actually does hurt some people that are really bastards.

killadelphia murder rate rises in philly

kiladelphia murder rate rises in philly is a very popular subject. The crime rate in philly is going up at a constant rate every year. People think its because this generation is out of control but its not just teens. One man killed a whole car full of teens because they picked on his son, the kids that were killed in the car were all around his son's age, 14-15. That is uncanny, what possessed him to kill them, there weren't innocent but they didn't deserve to die. Another out of control killing that proves Philadelphia's crime rate is rising constantly every year is, a couple months ago a whole Latin American family that owned a corner store was slaughtered. A mother, son, father, uncle, and brother were all killed. Only one survivor was the youngest son. And he recently spoke out in public about the tragic slaughter of his family. I don't really have a quote from him but he was heart broken about not having his family anymore.

Most recently a couple was killed in there homes' a black husband and wife found shot and killed. Police say it was not a hate crime, no one knew why them were killed, it was just simply...because.So wthi this evidence i can conclude that Philadelphia is is now spuring out of control with the killing , and most of them aren't even planned they just happen because some idiot felt like killing.

Facebook is using you

According to a certain article "Facebook Is Using You" the internet is tracking what you look up in your search bar, then they are placing advertisments on your social media site like Facebook, Twitter even Youtube according to what you are interested in. For example, if you are on Facebook and you update a status that says "getting married", soon in the corner of your screen there will be wedding advertisment and others thing related to getting married. That's how facebook make money, they charge you to buy things that they advertise.
But that not the only way the internet is using you. Lets say you look at something weird on google, like for example child pornography. The govenment would pay very close attention to you and maybe list you as a sex offender. Preventing you from getting a job or even going to a library. Basically any place that has to look you up on the computer. So be careful on the internet and pay attention to what you do, because you are being watched.

Blue

Beyonce and Jay Z are finally having a baby and the fans are buzzing. The name of the love child is Blue Ivy Carter, the inspiration of Jay Z's new song Blue Ivy. Even thou the baby isn't even born yet the public already think that she is being raised in the illuminati. Because of Jay Z's past in the secret group and his partners in crime Kanye West and Rhianna and probably Beyonce theres a strong chance that Ivy will be in it. I personally think it is true that she will be a part of it. It all makes sense, her father is in it and so is her mother probably and her fathers close friends and co workers, Rhianna and Jay Z.
But when she gets older she can choose her own path. If she wants to its no stopping her.
The public, more so my friends and other piers are saying they named her after evil and her name will determine her future. the name blue ivy has a certain meaning in the secret cult.

Plan B

         If Plan A doesn't work then there is always Plan B. Plan B is a drug that prevent women form having kids if they don't want to and it kills the kid if they are already pregnant. Obama is trying to ban it from being sold in drugs stores and it can be purchased without a prescription for it. People don't really agree with his decision to ban the drug from local drugs stores preventing it from being purchased without a prescription. There are two sides to this argument, one is this drug is safe to be sold in the drug stores. And the other side is saying it isn't. 

         I actually think it shouldn't be, thats just unsafe. What if an irresponsible teen walks into an drug store, purchase the drug and then abuse it. Or she is allergic to it. If she had of consulted her doctor the she would have known the side effects. Now she is hurt on the inside and cant have children if she wanted to because Plan B destroyed her insides. I just don't think its safe and shouldn't be sold in the drug store.

Charlie made an impact

WINNING! His favorite punch line, Charlie Sheen without a doubt was the most interesting person in the year 2011. Famous for many movies and his show "Two and a half Men" Charlie Sheen has become and icon for many people. But he kind of went off his top a little. He had an extreme meltdown and started taking all kind of drugs. Bad mouthing his co-workers on his show and so many other thing. I for one still liked him threw it all and I still have him as one of my favorite people. I don't find anything wrong with what he was doing. He was winning, and that simply that. Since it his money he can spend it on what ever he wants to. If he wants to destroy his body and do drugs....let him. But don't be jealous because he is making it. And that's why people were mad because they were jealous. Its Charlie Sheen's life so let Charlie Sheen run it not the public.
